There is no need to book your accommodation before arriving at Shihezi University. All international students are required to reside in the dormitory managed by Shihezi University. Prior to your departure, our official admissions agency notified us to arrange rooms for the incoming new students.
Foreign students traveling to Shihezi University need to pay approximately 360 RMB for bedding, which the school will arrange for you (including 2 quilts, 1 pillow, 1 pillow cover, and 1 bedsheet). Students who paid in advance will receive their bedding upon arrival.
Students will get their student cards after they arrive at the dorm. Students may use WeChat or AliPay to recharge their student cards, and they can use them to purchase meals from any university cafeteria.
If students’ parents or guardians can obtain their visas, they may travel with the enrolled students. However, parents or guardians are not permitted to reside in the dormitory with the student. A parent or guardian may reside outside the university by booking hotel accommodations. Furthermore, the institution will not provide any supporting documentation for visa applications for the parents or guardians of students.
