The Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE China) has approved the most recent list of medical schools in China that offer MBBS in English for the 2026–2027 academic year. This list was released on June 1, 2026. The MOE China list has been released every year since 2007.

The National (Western) Medical Education Expert Group maintains the list, which continually assesses medical schools in China to determine whether they are qualified to offer MBBS programs in English.

The annual cost of the Medicine Program (MBBS) at fully English-medium schools (MOE China-approved institutions) varies between 35,000 RMB ($5,000) and 45,000 RMB ($6,600), including tuition and lodging expenses for one year.
