Shihezi University provides on-campus Dormitory for International students which is seperate from the Chinese students. The cost of accommodation is 5000 RMB per year ($700), with the two students sharing a single room. Students are restricted from staying outside the school.

Hostel Rooms
The hostel rooms at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine are furnished with air conditioning, three shared rooms (bunker beds), cupboards, tables, and chairs. Every room features a personal balcony that offers a scenic view. The accommodation has a private bathroom with a connected water supply for both hot and cold water.
The on-campus dormitory allows just three students per room. Students are not allowed to upgrade to a single or double shared room, even if they are willing to pay an additional fee.
The campus of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine has three cafeterias. There is no common kitchen available for overseas students, and students are not allowed to cook the food inside the rooms. Students can enjoy their meals in the Muslim and Chinese cafeterias situated within the dormitory and campus. Since several Chinese and Muslim stores are close to the university, students may purchase meals from outside the campus.

The Hunan University of Chinese Medicine is located in one of China’s most elegant and Elite Cities, “Changsha“. The living standards and hostel living style at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine are much better than in other cities in China.
